Wow. That was absolutely heartbreaking, even as there were moments so visually descriptive that it was hot too. The rough, sometimes unexpected language caught the defensive barely hidden anger and sadness that Dean's trying so hard to push away, and Castiel's quiet desperation is no less in character. And the third character -- Sam -- is so present, even in his glaring absence. Nicely done.

Yeah, 5x03 sort of inspired those emotions in me, so I thought I'd find a way to vent. :)
I'm so glad to hear you think that it's not OoC, and also that I've achieved the effect I was going for.

Just hope the language was "good" unexpected and not "bad" unexpected, dohoho.

AAAAAH THE PAIN. That was absolutely hot but incredibly painful. And Dean is such a contradiction. He thinks he's giving, giving, giving, but then a second later he's saying "Give it to me hard." What's great about this is that the characters are perfectly, painfully, in character - Castiel in his devotion to Dean, and Dean being his self-hating self (and Sammy's tendency to be rougher during sex.) I just feel like... Castiel was a bit cheated here. He exists to ease Dean's suffering, and what makes Dean happy makes him happy, but even during sex, Dean won't let himself be happy. He won't even look at Castiel, because in the end... Dean was just trying to use Castiel to fill the Sam-sized hole in his heart, wasn't he?

So um yeah, this fic gives me all the feels and was definitely more than just porn. Sorry that my inner mommy feelings for Cas took over.
