I'm glad you felt that way about the last line. I can't help but think it's painfully cheesy, but in my head I really saw it being said so I left it in.

I'm sad to say that this is very much how I interpret this ship T____T (at least as of the beginning of season 6 where I'm at). It's not like Dean doesn't care about Cas at all, but he always puts other people ahead of him. Whereas I don't really see Dean's relationship with Sam as something sexual (not judging anyone if they do, I really have no beef with fictional incest, but in this case I just don't see it), I still think Dean would always choose Sam over Cas. And now probably Lisa as well

I'm not sure if you've seen any of my tumblr ranting about Destiel or not, but you have perfectly articulated exactly how I feel about it. (I think I made it pretty clear in the fic I wrote about 5x03 and it got a few people pretty riled up, heh.)

Come at me LJ bros, but I think as long as Sam's in the picture, ain't nothing gonna happen between Dean and Cas (nothing wholesome, at least). And using someone for the most part as a means to an end (often involving Sam) doesn't really look like love to me. (Damnit, Dean!)

For that reason my heart hurts so intensely for Cas; personally I'd go as far as to say he's pretty much canonically as deeply in love with Dean as a person (angel) could get

With Cas, I can say one thing - I have never in the history of tv seen someone as in love as he is. It's the sort of love I would be afraid to fall in

Oh my god, this was amazing. Ridiculously, outrageously hot and yet with such a dark, creepy undercurrent that really makes you feel everything that Dean's experiencing here; that sick-wrong feeling but wanting so bad he can't help himself. 2014!verse kills me every time but I can't help reading about it, masochist that I am -_-

Mostly I was worried about coherently identifiying which Dean was doing what, I felt like that could get confusing or annoying for the reader pretty quickly. I'm so glad you liked it though!!!

Ya I have a story over on FF.net with the pairing and I drive myself crazy trying to make it obvious which Dean is being written about. Lol but you do it far better then I, it was really great.
