Hnngh, cap'n, I'm so glad you're writing all this Sam/Dean! This really was intense, packed thick with sounds and scents, and the weight of each touch (blade to strop, fingers on forehead, blade to face) is so heavy, I love it. And oh man, I got the shivers when Dean was laying his equipment out on the counter; shades of On the Head of a Pin, and I wonder if Dean was thinking about that, too.
