Best D/A fic I've ever read. probably the best ever. perfect length to convey everything you got across, packed so tight and dense it would sink in the Dead Sea.
Dean’s body is warm, Dean’s body is wet, Dean’s body is lush and fertile. ALREADY it is magnitude of D/A perfect sex dynamic.
I want to comment on every paragraph. I won't because that lessens the impact of the best things that I want to talk about! Alastair in his gardener's clothes is such a funny image that twitches right over into horrific when you think about why he's dressed like that. Then the "I don't think it's really me" line, and I can hear it in Alastair's wet, raspy voice, a weak joke delivered just after he's watched Dean's eyes melt.
it’s very important that he always respond. PERFECT. Alastair does love Dean, and he would want to have conversations with him. He'd also want Dean to answer, to make sure he's aware, to make sure he knows exactly what's being done to him and isn't drifing off into some happy place.
GORGEOUSLY GROTESQUE. (I got here via BB's tumblr...)
The descriptions are so visceral and macabre. But of course my favorite part is Dean being made to wonder what Sam is up to. There would be no greater torture for Dean. The physical stuff? He can handle. But failure and not being there to protect Sam...*tsk tsk*
Yeah I'm not sure what the final thing was on the day Dean broke but I highly suspect it had something to do with Sammy O:
But yeyeye I think what made OtHoaP so fantastic is that the hints at the physical shit Alastair did to Dean were so so subtle and understated (pokes and prods) but we knew 100% what kind of psychological and mental torture Dean had to undergo.
This is fantastic (followed badbastion's rec via tumblr). Oh, the gore, it's beautiful, and also still completely horrific. The idea of these seeds growing away inside Dean, too, bursting out in flowers... it's just the BEST imagery.
Beauty and horror oh thank you thank you thanks I'm so glad! The images came from many different inspirations but I'm glad you think I did them justice!

It's visceral, and lush with gore, and still poetically pretty, a very dank and dark garden Alistair's planting - emotionally and physically.
