Princess Mina Chapter II: The Bum Leg

This is how Saturday went: Woke up and realized that Mina was still favoring her leg after 4.5 days and decided that yes indeed we should go to the vets and that no this is probabaly not just a bruised muscle that will go away. I told the story to the vet once we arrived, a little part of me in the back of my mind hoping to god they don't take her

Aww, what a little trooper. Poor little thing. At least you have the situation in check though.

Ebony went missing Saturday night (very odd for her) and I'm freaking out. Since I found her outside at 2 years old I am at least happy that she can fend for herself but I want my baby back. Everyone keeps telling me they just take strolls sometimes but I'm optimistic she'll come back real soon....I hope!!

i read that - and i am sorry to hear it. i hope ebony finds her way home. cats have enough instinct i think for them to find thier way ... and the weather is still warm enough you don't have to worry about that. i bet its a sick feeling though.

my mom was just telling me how its a bad month for kitties: her co-worker saw somebody miss trying to toss a box into a dumpster. the box rolled down a hill spilling out kittens! she gathered them up: there was a mother, a batch of new babies and a few older kittens assumedly from a previous litter. can you belive it? then she tried to take them to a shelter, but the shelter was full so they said they would have to euthanize them - all those kittens! she wouldn't go for it so she's trying to give them away herself. so if anyone reading this is looking to get a kitten I would be happy to pass along the info to you: there are male and female, B&W, grey and tabbies. i forgot how many of each.

I wish I could take in every homeless or mistreated pet, ya know. Like Jen the cat lady, I don't care. That is sickening that they not only tried putting kittens in a dumpster but also throwing it in there. Karma? What goes around comes around and I hope it comes back on them ten-fold.

I have faith in my cat too. Ask Joe and them when we saw her catch a bird, mid-flgith on my back porch and swallow it whole. Being that she was stray I know she can take it, I just miss her and want her back. She's my little boober!! Thanks Vonney, I hope she finds her way as well and that your kitty heals up good. So cute, cast and all.......;)

the first picture i saw was the drinking water
oh thats funny business.
tonca had that same cast thing
but she is 80 lbs and kept breaking it in a day
so they just took it off and told us to make sure she takes it "easy"
yeah whatever.
unless i want to have her drugged all day long, no.
but she got over quick and i'm sure mina will too and you can always buy their love with treats.
