Week #8 Entry

We started reading short stories and I felt like writing my thoughts on “A Good Man is Hard to Find” by Flannery O’Connor.  It was an interesting story about a grandmother and her son’s family taking a trip to Florida.  The grandmother keeps talking about how great Tennessee and how wonderful it is and how they should go there instead.  I’ve never ( Read more... )

What you said about how kids have a lot of negative influences from the media was interesting and very true...

...children today spend an average of, I believe, 8 hours watching T.V.! With so much time spent watching television...

isnt is ironic how the grandmother is the one who introduced the misfit in the poem and then she almost becomes friends with him.. I thought that was crazy
