There once was a beautiful planet, covered in vast jungles, with the largest trees in the universe. And the habitat was left mostly unharmed and adapted with technology creating the perfect symbiotic relationship for the inhabitants.
Now, as the Doctor stood just a step or two outside his TARDIS, his hearts pumped in anger, his fists bawled up by his sides with his short nails digging into the skin, as he looked around at the cinders around him. It smelled of decay and mold.
Do not blame yourself, Doctor. The Soothsayer held up it's robes as it wandered off to the side, pausing to crook it's head towards him.
"Of course it's my fault." He spoke quietly with anger, "If I hadn't come to you a second time... I can change it; I stop it from happening..."
"Don't be daft." The metacrisis cut him off as he pushed his way through the doorway, "Time can't be rewritten, and you know that." He glanced back to the women still in the doorway trying to gauge their reactions, lingering, before turning back to the Doctor, "It's not your fault. If anything, it's mine."
