Quick rambling of Doctor Who: I marathoned my way through Doctor Who summer 2011 and am all current with the new series. I've seen a total of 2 episodes of Torchwood, and that's about it in regards to the spin off series. I'm currently slowly watching classic Who, starting with the Jon Pertwee era (and honestly, I'm only interested in 3, 4, 5, and 8th Doctors).
Ramblings of my interpretation of the Doctor and RP stuff
What point do I take my Doctor? When I first started rping him, I was only halfway through series 3. I typically play him somewhere in the timeframe of series 4, unless specified. Really, I'm completely flexible and it pretty much changes everytime time I start a thread.
How I feel about classic characters: Love 'em, but honestly I'm intimidated since I know so little about classic Who. I'm most familiar with 3, since I've recently started watching it.
Interpretations of Doctor Who shipping: I'll admit I'm a fan of Doctor/Rose and Doctor/River. I think the Doctor was in love with Rose, but given he obviously can't be with her, is alright about moving on and falling for River. For RP purposes, I don't mind shipping at all, just let me know if you're leaning towards that way. Of the current doctors, I definitely feel Ten is the most sexual of them (I interpret Eleven as completely asexual, but I don't rp him therefore that's a moot point) and he has no qualms with a kiss or two. I think canon-wise the only pairing I can't see at all is Doctor/Martha. Sorry.
Where does this leave the Master? They have history, that's well known (Again, I haven't seen much of classic Who), and I feel that there's this extremely vague line of where they stand. I interpret the Doctor/Master relationship more as the odd couple, but the way Ten acts around him, it honestly doesn't surprise me if there's something more to it. For RP purposes, I'm fine with Doctor/Master, just know my interpretation of it is the Doctor finding it more as a possible physical/intellectual comfort in the familiarity or appreciation of being around another Time Lord, but would never consider himself in love with the Master. (And if he does states "I love you", it's in terms of brotherly love.)
Threads: I like to complete my threads. Sometimes I might be fast to tag, other times I might be slow. Also, this is RP, I like to be creative and attempt to recreate the feel of Doctor Who, so I actually prefer the action/adventure threads to others. Honestly, I make all this shit up with the helps of wikipedia aiding me, so feel free to be creative as well. The bottom line is: feel free to do whatever you wish in threads. Just don't kill my Doctor off without discussing it first. I also don't do baby storylines. Sorry.

EDIT: This fanfic is totally my head!canon on the ~mysteries~ of Gallifreyan reproduction. I'm sticking to it, since it makes sense. Although, I still think the Doctor physiologically is capable acting just like a human as well anatomically, because someone would've mentioned otherwise by now.
