Talk about an under rated film. Cary Grant is a theater owner who is about to lose his shirt after three flops in a row. If you've ever seen the cartoon that inspired the WB's Frog, then this has got to be where they were inspired to make that cartoon in the first place. The Two Mrs. Carrolls 1947
Humphrey Bogart and Barbara Stanwyck draw the viewer into dark romantic setting. Regardless of everything you see from the beginning of the film, you believe the romance between Bogey and Stanwyck. Strangely enough for such a dark film the ending is almost comedical.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Well, Ginna had a very bad neck ache from the previous days work and people not helping out. So she came home early and we hit the club around noon time. Got my 9 laps or 1/4 of a mile in. Babysitting & Gaming
Okay, out at my son's house, babysitting my grandson. He's full of spark, playing with his "fights", I'm watching Star Trek III on my son's 42" Sony Bravia 1080. The sound system is awesome with Sci-Fi movies.

A Walk in the Sun 1945
Filled with actors in their early years such a young Lloyd Bridges and Sterling Holloway, but the cool part is seeing Huntz Hall outside of the Bowery Boys/Dead End Kids movies. I kept expecting Leo Gorcey to pop up. Nice piece about a group of soldiers in the Italian theater of operations nearing the wars end. Nice for a change of pace.

The Sea Wolf 1941
Eddie Robinson is always at his best as a gangster, but there are exceptions. Sea worthy tale of a hard-bitten captain and the ill fated men who sail with him. Worthwhile viewing.

The Monster 1925
A delightful film, many aspects remind me of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, however better. Here Chaney plays the Mad Scientist to the hilt, his henchmen ever creepy whilst the protagonists provide the humor. Got to watch Mark of the Vampire 1935, with Bela Lugosi & Lionel Barrymore. Enjoyable little fare that takes me back to the simple days.
