Today I was accused of writing for “fake” reasons and I’m rather insulted, I admit. I don’t think I’ve actually been accused of something so revolting in quite a while.

i'm sorry. not for what i said, but for the way you took it. i don't feel in the wrong about it at all, just simply misunderstood. if you want to talk about it, how about getting in touch with me directly? or do you wish to let it die? your choice, either way.

is that what you want me to say? you and i both know those words would be empty. you and i both know that i meant what i said.

i won't be apologizing for anything. i could continue to debate you on the matter, but why should i waste my time? you're only going to be more hurt no matter what i say. for a moment, i was considering pointing out exactly why i said it seemed fake to me, but i have a feeling that you would take that as only adding insult to injury.

I don’t care about an apology, honestly, but I do like people to explain things plainly. I’m no longer too irritated by it but if someone’s to claim something I like them to back it up. If you can back it up at least I am slightly less annoyed and feel that you might possibly have a point. As it stands, you don’t. As for adding insult to injury, you hardly injured me- just insulted.

this was the biggest thing that sounded fake to me. it sounded like you write in order to sell. i don't think anyone will disagree with me on that. of course, i know that's not the way you are and i assumed you would have picked up on that since you know my opinions on what you have written and let me read before. i was merely pointing out how it sounded.

Then you say so, first off, instead of saying "This is why you write? It sounds fake."

Past that, there is a very good reason why it sounds that way: It’s meant to. The only way you can be sure something is read is by selling it. You could have the greatest thing to say, the best insight, the best idea, but if you can’t write it well, make people interested, then it’s useless. I write in order to sell- not only money wise if it came to that- but mainly to the readers at large. If it’s not ( ... )

There could be a reason why part of it is made unsatisfying and that’s fine. It’s a fine plot device, if it makes you happy for me to say that, but I find others better and since I have very little draw to watch it anyway it makes it even more less appetizing to me.

It’s not my thing, Ben. I think I’ve made that clear again and again as people repeatedly invited me to see it- Including you. I could say more, however, I probably shouldn't.

XD I think it would be fun to talk writing sometime. I'm taking Writing Fiction next semester with a female teacher (I've forgotten the name) sometime weds afternoon too, if you're interested in joining the same class as me.

And I'll pass a few things along if you want- as long as you do the same, of course. However, most of my stuff I'm stuck with fixing up like an obsessive psycho.
