Sniping Math Teacher for the... kinda win.

Just snipped Anderson for Math 103...its better then my previous teacher but the class is 8am and I don't do mornings.

The only class I would take at 8am, if I could snipe it, would be Psychology of Gender (its the only time its offered) OR a few other ones that I have some interest in. I'll probably drop math and take Psychology of Personality ( ( Read more... )

I'm not going to say whether you should or shouldn't take the class, but if you do decide to take it, I'm always free to help. Math used to be my specialty, before I started taking computer classes, so it would be my pleasure if I could be of assistance.

My main question was wither anyone thought it'd be best to go ahead and get it over with or not. My main concern would be the time- I'm not interested in math so taking it when I'm wide awake is preferable rather then as the first class of the day...during a time when I'm going to likely not be overly thrilled about being up in general and then with a class which subject matter... less then thrills me.

For example: I LOVED my religion class, didn't even mind getting up for it so much- it was at 9am- and it wasn't bad. I, more or less, never felt like I was falling asleep.

I HATED and wanted to sleep in my history class at 9:25. Could not stand it at all.

Whenever I take it I'll probably have to hit you up for help. Math is NOT my forte.

In other news, the creative writing teacher has another review on ratemyprofesser. I can't wait to take that class.

Well, if your primary concern is a combination of interest and ability to pay attention, I reccomend that you not take it so soon and take a class that is later in the day. I made the mistake of taking Calc at 9:00 MWF and 9:25 Tuesdays, so I can say from experience "IT SUCKS!!"

Thats what I was thinking. So far there's no dice for that- most of the good teachers I'd want to take either are full and not budging or they're at conflicting times. I need to start Latin and I'm not not taking creative writing.

I hate math too. And as for the braindead thing, I'm right with you.

Unfortunately I had to take an advanced math class to work in my German this year. Ugh.

Ug~ I wish you luck. From what I see I think I'll be dropping and either taking Psycology of the Personality or Gender. It'll be strange- If I do that I'll have one class MF and Two Wensday.

Three Tuesday/Thursday.

I imagine that, asside from math and other evil classes you don't want to take, you'll love College and all the things you could take if you have the time etc. You can join John and I oohing and ahhing over the classes book.
