Okay... So these past few weeks have found me the emotional backboard of about six people, give or take a few. Typically, I don't mind this. I like helping friends, if only by listening, but there have been quite a few complications in this. I hope I haven't been dumping anything of the sort on you; If I have, then allow me to apologize. As far as these other cases go, I can sort of relate to the subconscious reasoning behind the rush. A lot of us, myself included, have an innate phobia of not finding that special someone before we graduate college. In some cases, that would mean the only places that would remain to look are clubs, on the job, or online - all three of which are not exactly top-notch options. On top of that, most everyone around you has gotten married or is happily taken. I'm not saying finding someone is hopeless, but it does become much more difficult after graduation. Combine the realization of that fact with hormonal influences, and you have a volatile recipe for emotional recklessness.
As far as love coming when you least expect it, I've found that to be true from personal experience. I've found that many times, it also comes from the person you ( ... )
