Icon Improvement

Goodbye 2007, hello 2008. Well not quite yet, but soon. And therefore I want to show you all how bad I used to suck at making graphics the improvement I've made from last year to this year in icon making. YAY!

what's a claim?

i actually love all of them, i can't believe you thought you sucked.

A claim is when you claim a person, or tv show or character and you have to follow specific rules to make 100 icons of that person, tv show or character. The rules try to make you have to do things with your icons you would never do and really develop new colorings and such. It was really difficult for me.. but I did learn a lot.

And thank you! At the time, I thought I was good.. but looking back, I think I've improved so much.

I completely missed this post. Awesome post. It's so crazy when you look back and look at your icons and you're like wow those sucked and you know at the time you were like these are awesome LOL. I know I'm still working and trying stuff everyday. That's what I love about making them.

I think the thing that causes that change is that you make a lot of them you know and you don't shy away from using pictures that aren't high def. That causes you to really work and try new things. It's funny though cause I just realized as much as I like your icons, I don't have any of yours. LOL. I need to rectify that.

Um, you've improved SO MUCH, Sadie! I think claims really do help with creativity because you can tell how much your styles changed from before you started the claim to after it was completed.

LOL, all of the ones you said are your favs are most definitely saved to my computer! They're all GORGEOUS!
