You can't always be in control, in fact, you are rarely going to be in control of things in your life. The most important things in life, the people that matter most to you, the things you want to happen...are always going to be out of your control. That's how life is, and that's why it sucks. You can control stupid things that don't even matter

Don't be discouraged. "When one door closes, another one opens. But often we look so hard at the closed door, that we don't notice the one that's been opened for us." I don't remember who wrote that, but it's a very true quote.
