New Year Resolution reached -- sorta

As of six months, I have not drink a single carbonated drink (suppose to be sodas but I made it into carbonated drink). I made this New Year Resolution for six months only. As of June 1st, I drank Ginger Ale because my stomach started to hurt. My friend told me that Ginger Ale helps, and so it did. However it sorta broke my New Year Resolution --
