my cousin received a purple heart yesterday. he was wounded in afghanistan.

Congrats to your cousin! My dad went to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003. He's getting deployed to either Iraq or Kuwait again by next year. :(

my cousin was in Iraq before he went to Afghanistan. We're so proud of him and so lucky to have him back!
