in Crain's advanced humanities class, you will learn just how pompous he is. You will also learn that he stereotypes people, and is a hypocrite. There are two ways to teach humanities: by discipline or historically. Most people teach by discipline - art, then music, then literature, etc. Crain teaches historically. You will begin by reading about a culture 40000 years old and memorizing random useless facts about their art. Then you will read about a culture 30000 years old, and memorize a bunch of useless facts about their art. You get the picture. The most fun you will have is doing a scene from a play, and making your mask. At the END of the year.
or you'll love him. he's one of those teachers where it's either love or hate. but the people who love him are generally people who are pompous and hypocritical themselves.
hm...I appreciate your thoughts josh gray. most people whom i've spoken too about this that have graduated don't give a rats ass about anything 'high school' anymore and murmur unhelpful responses. Yours was very thorough. Thanks kid. enjoy college life ok.
