We went into Jim Thorpe on Sunday and visited the Asa Packer mansion (and made it up that blasted hill) as well as visited the Old Jail (which I was shocked to learn was still in operation until 1995) as well as looked at tons of awesome Italianates and Second Empire houses. We found a coffee shop

Wow. That's really all that can be said is just wow. You had a crazy "vacation." I'm glad your great uncle is good and sad about the rest. Family is nothing but a bunch of BS - but it's nice to see that I'm not the only one with a crazy family...
