I am having the same problem, even though I also have my email scambled on my userinfopage.
I think those addresses are just automatically add to a spamlist. It's rather easy, since all users with a paid account who use their livejournal emailaddy, have the same structure for the mailaddress. @livejournal.com. So all you need to do as a spammer is to collect all usernames, and attach the domainname and voila. I don't think they even sort paid and free users out, they'll just send stuff off and see whether it gets there or not.
Some days I get up to 6 spammails indeed, and it's very annoying!! I doubt there is much we can do about it though, except for not using the livejournal emailaddy.
