Last night my coworker and I were drilled on what to do in case of certain emergencies and the whole "Code Adam" situation was brought up. A Code Adam is when a parent can't find their child and it involves locking doors and searching the store from top to bottom. Just thinking about it gives me shivers. Hehehe try working in a public library, which is somehow thought of as a supersafe place to leave your kids. We have computers with games for little ones, and people set their kid in front of the computer then go all over the building nowhere near the kid.

It seems that parents have no qualms about leaving their children unattended anywhere. I seriously need that heavy stick and a license to bludgeon bad parents.

Yeah, I know. One night at Concessions, some dude left his three year old daughter alone in line to hold their place while he left fpr a good ten minutes to get money. That's right, huge crowd, tons of people, just left her there all by herself. I gave him the Service of Hate when he actually showed up to order his effen food.
