where are bubble cars, teleporters, jet packs, mutants, laser cannons, giant robots, invisible cloaks, whole meals in a tiny pill, alien invaders, electro-sleep muscle stimulation, flying personal vehicles, cloning, cyborg technology, space colonies, superheroes, and my favorite: world peace?

I think you watched too many cartoons and read too many comic books in your life dear.

Although we do have bubble cars, and have had them for years. The VW's look like scrubbing bubbles to me, especially the lime green variety.

you should check out all the farmers almanacs from the 70's where they have predictions of what life will be like in the 90's. Evidently we were supposed to be on mars back in 92. colonies on the moon in 2000.
