i met with someone today... someone who has more of an effect on my adult life than any other person i've met. as i sat and talked with her about the present, past and future, i had two songs go through my head over and over. one song was for me and the other was for her. i heard them over and over again and now i realize that even though they are

My mother and I used to sing those songs together when I was younger.

Two separate shows have done these songs well. 'You are my Sunshine' was done in the movie 'Beaches' with Bette Midler. 'Que Sera,Sera' was done by Ned Flanders on the hit show 'The Simpsons'. God I am such a Simpsons whore.
