so. i've decided to start writing again. does anyone here in this dusty place know how (well, a lot of you probably know how, so the better question would be - ) would anyone here have the patience to explain in like third grade terms how to make your journal look pretty? how to customize it beyond punquin side bar black and grey?

I recently changed the look of my journal. I don't know what you like but I went here:

and found a combo I liked. There are tabs at thee top of the information box so that you can play with different settings. Look at my friends list. http://cierrablue.livejournal.com/friends/ it looks completely different than punquin. I used 'A Novel Conundrum' with default for Language and Layout and Retrossential for the theme. Under Custom Options I picked the color and font, then the colors of different types of text. Do what works for you!
