"So GET OFF YOUR ASS and search for a job, or else quit bitching about how bad this one is." I admit to doing a lot of the same, especially in the last year or two at UPS, but I was also trying to make it to the five year mark where the retirement benefits kick in before really going and looking for something new - sadly, those plans got interrupted, but the point is - if he doesn;t have much invested in the job, then GO FIND A NEW ONE already.
I mean, come on, what's wrong with doing a little more personal contact than an e-mail. Is he afraid of meeting new people and such? I do admit to having that problem, so I wonder. If so there's ways to fight it, but you can't just keep falling back down into the same rut.
