Burlesque and a birthday party!

In case you're wondering why there's an update despite it being a weekday, well, I have a day off! Kinda. :P

Yesterday was a long, long day. But it was one of the most awesome I've had in a long time for three reasons.

1. We finally got our timetable for the semester and it's wicked awesome! We have Fridays off! That means a three-day weekend!

Hey is it odd that both of us have Friday off or is it some kind of a new schedule for every mass comm courses in Malaysia..?

Have you seen Mermaid? Since you oh so loove Cher? I watched it like.. a lot of time when it was playing on HBO or I think it was HBO, it could be StarMovies..

I haven't watch Burlesque... but my friends and I are thinking too.. we've been hefty busy with our assignments.. and hey, we did an MV using a children's song (well, that was actually compulsory..) and IMO I loved it more than what the other groups came up with TBH.. teehee.

You have to! The storyline, as I've said, is weak and nobody's going to rave over it... but IMO, Cher and Stanley Tucci are like, the best things in the film. :D Really? Is it online? Can I watch it somewhere? :D

On the contrary to your experience, the friends I watched with were actually all "OMG CHER" hahaha. But I can see where you're coming from though I'm not surprised. I'm neutral towards Christina Aguilera although I don't deny her singing talent.

Oh my god, I'm so glad you shipped Tess/Sean too. I was seriously dying over them, them >>>> any other couple. And at the end-ish when they were dancing and it basically alluded to the fact that they slept together once a long time ago (fic, yes? :D) just KILLED me. This film was excellent, and it really really propelled my love for Cher (seriously, she's playing in my ears as we speak, haha) and she was so. fantastic. in this. Love, love, love her.

I only really watched it for her and Stanley because I don't really like Christina Aguilera. I have both Cher's tracks on iTunes - not bothering with the rest of the soundtrack, lol.

Me too! I wouldn't really have bothered if she weren't in it. :D I love both her songs - they're the only tracks from the soundtrack I bothered to get!
