I love my country, I really do.

If you've been living here a while (or all your life), you will know that the level of corruption is intensely high and the government is known for parading cronyism, hypocrisy and spouting ridiculous statements. The latest "issue" going on around here is the Bersih 2.0 rally, which calls for free and fair elections.

Oh man, there are just no words for shit like that :( How some people manage to twist something so beyond the truth with a straight face and beyond shame I'll never know.

I hope down the line your country gets the fairness and freedom you want.

The sad thing is the country's been at such a standstill with simmering tensions lying beneath everything, that political analysts are predicting a worse situation in the future with people fighting for a "revolution" which we have yet to see.

Oh, me too. But it will be very difficult, considering racism is in our very constitution. Urgh. *headdesk*
