Pink Floyd were so totally, mentally awesome tonight that I couldn't stop my face from repeatedly caving in. For a band who haven't played together in *24* years they were so, so, so, so, so very, very, very, very, very good

jonathon ross: so, what do you think were the highlights today? jo whiley: well, snow patrol, keane, robbie williams and madonna, it's gotta be!
unbetwattingleivable.
i'm also pleased that i caught the 'jovi in philadelphia. livin on a prayer and its my life. i was a little traumatised but not completely bothered by sambora playing a floyd rose guitar! it sounded cool but the headstock hurts me.
I have to admit that the only bands I really saw that I liked were Pink Floyd, The Who and R.E.M. Green Day looked like they were rocking out in Berlin too!
and paul mcartney's drummer was wicked. looked like he should be in disturbed or something, totally rocking out and being all metal looking, but playing get back and hey jude and stuff. wicked!
Have to say that when i saw Bon Jovi i remarked to lil Tom on how pants they were. Livin on a prayer had absolutely no punch or gut to it - he's now just a big soggy twat who can do a bit in Ally McBeal if needed!
I completely agree, they were absolutely amazing, AND they played Comfortably Numb!!! :D (we can forgive them for cutting the 2nd guitar solo slightly ;)) We were in Pavlov's watching it and they got a massive round of applause when they finished, hehe. Wish I had been there!!! x
The second solo in confortably numb was actually longer than the album version! I wish he'd played the full one from DSOT though, that would have seriously rocked!
I totally wish I'd been there too, I would have easily stood through an entire day of crap just to see those 4 songs!
