Caspian, The Chronicles of NarniaautumniaDecember 30 2015, 01:50:46 UTC
Caspian gazed upon his son's face and tried to touch it but he felt so tired, as if his soul was a large boulder trapped inside his frail body, unable to rise and escape its mortal prison.
As his vision of Rilian and the world dimmed, he thought of the old Telmarine stories about Death--an elderly and ugly woman dressed in long, dark robes--and hoped he would be brave enough to face her as his time in Narnia drew ever closer to an end.
When he opened his eyes, he was shocked to find not the woman of folklore but a familiar Lion, a young boy he had not seen in decades and a girl he never met before and feeling light as a feather, Caspian laughed and ran up to embrace them all.
