A/N: Hi, I just came back from the dead. This is so cheesy that this drabble alone can sustain America's supply of cheese.
A silent creek echoed in the dark room as a door slowly opened. Tiffany peered her head inside the room, which was barely illuminated by the moonlight glow from the window. She spotted a silhouette in front of the window, the figure sitting on the edge of a bed. The brunette carefully closed the door behind her, maneuvered across the room, and delicately sat herself beside the girl, who did not budge despite the disturbance.
“Jessi?” she asked with a concerned tone, since the girl’s gaze never faltered from the window.
“Hmm?”
“What are you doing?”
Tiffany felt slightly comforted when she felt fingers snake around her hand, knowing that the older girl was acknowledging her existence.
“The moon is pretty tonight.”
The brunette looked questioningly at the girl, before turning her attention to the glow outside the window. A full moon was hung high in the raven sky.
“Yeah, it is…”
“Did you know that the moon doesn’t produce its own light?”
“Yeah, moonlight is the reflection of the sun’s light, right?”
“Mhm.”
There was silence for a while, before Jessica’s voice picked up again.
“So, if the sun stopped giving off light, then there would be no more moonlight, right?”
Tiffany droned in thought, and then replied, “I guess so…”
Another round of silence ensued, until Tiffany felt a heavy weight on her shoulder. She recognized the weight as Jessica’s head, feeling her soft breath against her neck.
“I like it when you’re around, you know that?” Jessica claimed. Tiffany kept silent as she continued, “Your loud laughter, your big smiles, the way you act when we’re around friends… even when you’re painfully high on your own happiness… the way you are somehow makes me happy, too. I feel at my best when you’re around.”
Tiffany felt a huge grin grow on her face at the compliment, as she ran a hand through Jessica’s hair and across her scalp.
“I guess what I’m trying to say is… Don’t stop smiling, ok? Because if you do, then I’ll stop smiling, too.”
Tiffany felt warmth rushing throughout her body when she felt a shy kiss on her neck.
“My light may never be as bright as yours, but I know how much you like it when I’m happy, so… just be your happy self, because you’re the sunlight that keeps me glowing.”
After Jessica finished her shy proclamation, Tiffany sat there wondering how to respond to the beautiful, carefully woven confession placed before her. Knowing that she wouldn’t be able to rival the girl’s high level of love-laced words, she just simply lifted Jessica’s head, placed soft kisses on the older girl’s forehead, the edge of her ear, her cheek, and (less of a soft kiss and more of a passionate one) on her lips as she then lowered their bodies onto the bed where they bathed in the bright moonlight for the rest of the night.

So this was just a little personal test to see if my writing skills are still any good to enter the fanfic contest The Gathering on soshified. I'm still not too sure, I haven't written in AGES. I'm so rusty. ;__;
Anyways, pennies for your thoughts? :3
