Just finished all my carnival work for the day. I guess it's time to write, huh?

THBBTPTPPTTT.

I shall be in Seattle tomorrow and Wednesday.

Unfortunately, I shall be spending almost all my time doing litigation-support-like things.

So: I say again:

THTTBTPPTPTPPTTTBBBBTBTBBBTTTTTTH.

Got time for lunch? Or late-night cocktails? There's got to be some way we can get together!

We're in class from 5:00-8:30 tomorrow, and 'Zo's working his regular day job. I, however, am more-or-less a chick of leisure.

Too damn bad you're not going to be here Friday. There's a Clarion party, and at least one of the students this year is truly One Of Us.

Whoa. Carnival Reverie looks ... looks ... quite nearly magnificent. What's your connection to it? And what outfit do you wear while doing it?

Now, write!

Sadly, I am merely press wench, meaning, I send out press releases and then make unspeakably cheery phone-calls to the recipients, asking if they need anything.

My friend Sara is going to teach me to a little bit of this stuff, though, so maybe someday. . . .

As to the outfit, it involves a huge pink slip and bloomers. The effect is cute, in a shapeless, anime-for-the-under-tens sort of way, I think.

Good seeing you at scarlettina's party!

And here I thought you might be in the show. Tightrope-walking, plate-spinning, rightwing-lyin'-tamer, maybe? Still, fire dancing? Yow. Cool. Er, hot. Um...

And it was good to see you as well. Glad you showed up while we were still there.

Drag my ass out to this, ok? That is my newly-ex's birthday, and I certainly could use the distraction!

What sort of costume theme should I work towards? I haven't been to a good costume event in ages!

We'd love to have you come out! Johnzo and I will be maniacally volunteering throughout the whole thing (I am a runner; he is assistant stage manager) but it would be super to see you there!

Costume-wise, think Victorian/vaudeville/circus punk. My outfit is a pink slip, heavy-gaudge fishnets, black knickers with raggedy embroidered lace, and a stretch-lace long-sleeved underthingee, plus clompy-soled mary janes. It's basically goth, wtih a dose of bright color. But really, anything goes. If you wanted to dress like a fuzzy orange robot, or Richard Brautigan, or an irate kumquat, that would be just as welcome.
