One of my cats got hit by a car. She's dead. I feel sort of relieved, actually, that I'm not more sad, because for a long time I've been worrying about my pets having to die eventually. One down, three to go? Poor Spiff, she was mostly a good cat. And there was that time she peed on my dad's face while he was sleeping. Her proudest moment.

That cat will be welcomed with honors into Kitty Heaven for pulling a stunt like that. They shall set her up as their little cat goddess and stories of her grand peeing shall become legend.
