Shit. I used to narrate what I was doing while I was doing it in my head (although I thought of it as a book rather than a movie), until I decided that maybe it meant I was crazy and forced myself to think about something else whenever I started. Sometimes I have momentary lapses and end up thinking, "...Then I slipped my white-socked right foot into the dirty brown shoe and tugged hard on the laces..."

I did exactly the same thing. Sometimes, I woudl narrate in third person, which was super weird. :/
