yup, it is ... and paul(the writer as he truly was)/fred(holly's brother as she imagined paul because he looked a lot like him) played by george peppard had a very brill answer to that. it involved being trapped in her own cage that is of her own making. can't remember the exact words though ... funny how my memory is soooo selective in the most stupid cases sometimes. well it kinda happened to me once ... quite a long time ago. never turned out the way it did in the movie though. mebbe she was no audrey hepburn. or i'm no george peppard. or both.
