In XS?!

I do not consider myself to be a rebel, but there are things I hate - among them is being told what to do, which propably renders me a rebel, in a sense. That's a different story though ( Read more... )

baby, it's not just an issue of morons killing themselves, but other people as well....i know you're a good driver, but others i don't trust as much. especially asians, haha. i do think certain speed limits should be higher though. 70 mph is fucking ridiculous.

don't worry, babe...i will help as much as i can with payments....

and i am so proud of you for doing as well as you are in school. thank god you are nothing like your slacker girlfriend ;p

love you, milo.

Ah, sweetie, you're making a pretty good point.. with Asians behind the wheel, I guess some speed limits are in order. Unless... no, we don't want to be racist and set discriminative laws now, do we?:P

Love you. <3

gah. Tell me about it. I'm always dangling on 2 speeding tix per year. They are too easy to get.
That fine you got is ridiculous. A few years ago I got pulled over for speeding 55mph over 55 mph speeding limit. I got an attorney and all I had to pay was $150 for a speeding ticket and safety driving school and $150 for the attorney, and I didn't even have to go in front of the judge. Had I gone a different route w/o attorney, I would have had my DL suspended and a charge for reckless driving/manslaughter.
Things might be different in California then Illinois, all those hippies and safety freaks on the West Coast.
Good luck with clearing it all up.

Whaaaa? You got a speeding ticket for going 55mph in a 55mph zone?! This makes no sense - you shouldn't have had to pay for anything. In fact, they should have paid you!
I got an attorney, I figured it'd be the best thing to do, and am still waiting for the results..
Thanks.
Btw, Happy New Year.:)

Hey, you think you're gonna make it to WGT this year?

What about those 3 car(+) pile ups that block traffic, though? Don't tell me that wouldn't piss you off more. Slowing down a little isn't nearly as obnoxious as being stuck at a dead crawl for several hours.

Damn, you really have a lead foot. The last time I was in a car going over 100 mph we flew over a small hill & I felt like I was about to be rocketed out of my seat & through the windshield! Scary!

Sorry 'bout your license & everything. Being on foot or having to depend on public trans/rides from friends really sucks an asshole or two.

At least you're keeping up in school! Eventually you'll have a better paying job & the price raise on your insurance won't be so painful.

Mm, yeah, that's true, though I'm always very careful..
I have the sneaking suspicion those 3 car(+) pile-ups you mentioned are, most of the time, caused by Asians!! I'm not racist, but Asians can't drive for shit!
Last month one crazy, Asian bitch almost ran Courtney and I over.. :/
Are you guys still planning on moving to Cali.?

that's what i'm talking about. YOU can be careful all you want, but you can't be sure anyone else will drive carefully. it's a risk.

yes, actually, it should be happening soon. we were unofficially kicked out of his father's house recently. detra left his boots in the living room & a screaming match was born. end result; we'll be saving all our extra money after the bills are paid, renting a u-haul & getting the fuck out of here as soon as possible.

Are you serious?! What a weirdo.. I'm sorry about that. :/
I'm happy to read that you'll be moving west soon though! Hope it works out.

My view on speed limits is that they are a very convenient way for organisations to earn money... protecting people (like the government cares about anyone..) is a byproduct of this!

How do you mean?
I agree with what you said about the government not caring about anyone, or at least not about the individual. Everything is done for $$. Same with anti-virus/spam software.

Having speed limits, means that police can give tickets for speeding, thus increasing revenue and getting money. The fact that people are protected by choosing to travel at a lower speed (to avoid a ticket) means that there are less accidents, and people are protected as a by product. Fucking hell though I wish there were some police around to get that drunk driving arsehole who hit me... They were probably all at speed cameras trying to make money though!
