And oy, Sport1 (that cap is from Sport1, no?) is behind three or four emblem designs. At least Sportschau is only behind two. Why are we changing our emblem more often than some people change their underpants?
*has an icon that is behind one design as well, because she doesn't get the new redisign and doesn't like it one bit*
But when I do, 96 will have a new one the next week and they'll be behind again. I also really don't get the new one. It's probably why they and Sportschau just stopped updating them. ;)
I got the change in shade of green to a fresher more modern one. I did get the change to the 3D emblem (the one Sportschau is using) and why they had to change back, cause the light effect was too confusing and it wasn't easy to print cheep. I do so not get why they had to take the green out of the circles of the 9 and the 6, though. Okay, you save a tiny bit of green ink, but seriously that is why you change your whole collection again? It can't be that much cheaper that it justifies having to change all the print and knitting and whatnot patterns, right? I mean that must cost, too.
And seriously, if they come with the red and black one next, I will look for a new club to support. There has to be a line somewhere.
There must be some hidden profit somewhere, or they wouldn't do it. When it comes to merchandize, there is no other motivation driving them...
On our way to the S-Bahn after the rather sad drop out on Thursday, I saw someone actually wearing an original Listez-Trikot. There should be more people like that sticking to their classics, and all the new crap that gets out with every new season would stop soon enough.
Maybe the financial crisis will help us with that a little... *evilgrin*

And I like your consequence in refusing to follow certain profit-oriented developments!

(Yes, this is really a pet peevish topic for me)
