This fic was pretty much the basics of everything I love about smutty fic, though I had to hold myself back on the fluff a little. But yes!! I'm glad you appreciated the realism, bc sex is messy and often non-sexy but yet people keep doing it so there are ways to include it without making the whole thing unsexy, you know? Plus, I think the added realism makes it more sexy. ;)

If you don't mind me getting a little tangential: I was also pretty worried about the condom thing, because I hate hate hate the unsafe sex trope ("i dont have a condom" "meh its ok") but I also have never known someone to keep condoms in their living room. Lube can be passed off as something else, besides I wanted Baekhyun to fail in some way. I also wanted to make it clear what kind of relationship they were in, (long and trusted) and wanted a way to break out of the moment for flow, and this worked the nicest. (Well, I really hope it worked

Exactly! The living room!! It's unrealistic. And yes I like to promote safe sex too in my fics, but as part of a longterm trusted couple like they obviously are, I think it's quite okay. Tbh though, I wrote a scene once where couch sex was about to happen and then had Baekhyun running naked down the hallway through 3 rooms trying to find lube while the other waited. Realism. Because the world is boring if it's all just fantasy with no human elements hehehe.

Also- I've never thought so much about freeballing, but now that I'm forced to... yep. quite gross. haha Krisbaek <3
