So this Christmas I have had waaay too much time on my hands since I still don't have a job. I decided to make embroidered portraits for my friends for Christmas presents.

So it's only been one week since I got laid off from my job and I am already going stir crazy.

Looking for a job in this crappy economy is the pits.

I am so happy, I could explode.

I was severely glutened yesterday and I was slipping in and out of a gluten coma on the couch infront of the election coverage when John slapped my leg hard. I shot up looked at the TV and screamed "YES!"

We fucking did it! YES WE CAN!!!!!

1ST:
My Abuelo had two brain aneurysms on Friday and had Brain surgery on Saturday. He seems to be doing ok and should be able to leave the hospital in a few days. not the best news but at least he is doing ok.

2ND:
I got laid off this morning. Now I get to try and find a job in this shitty economy.

FUCK ME.

John and I took a long weekend to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and went to Long Island's wine country this past weekend.

It was perfect timing- they were harvesting the Merlot grapes and I went out in the early am to help:
