Why do you like him/her?
Where to begin. Tamaki is my favorite character for many reason. For one thing he's incredibly sweet and kind-hearted. He does what he can to help others even at his own expense. If he's upset it isn't for long and he moves right along to solving the issue rather than moping around all day (which he does mope for a few minutes, but then he gets back on his feet again). Also, despite how mean or hurtful others can be towards him, he never holds a grudge towards anyone ever! He's a true romantic which is another reason why I love him so much. His lines may be cheesy but goddamn when they are used in real life and whispered sweetly into your ear, you melt damn it! You MELT! (Not just saying this, Vic Mignogna did the coffee line for me) Not to mention how adorable of a character he is. You can't help but love him for his personality and that adorable face of his AWWWW <3

. Pokemon is the first one I watched but the one that got me started on anime and the first one ever watched in the original language was Cardcaptor Sakura

Ouran High School Host Club
It's got everything I love, its a comedy and a romance. That's not just it, Ouran has a beautiful story (Manga), that depicts the relationships between all of the characters in such a sweet way. The way they show the growing friendship between all the hosts in beautiful. My favorite part of it: Tamaki and Haruhi's growing relationship <3 (Tamaharu Shipper)
Do you prefer shounen or shojo anime?
Shojo, I'm a hopeless cutesy romantic, I do enjoy shounen too though
Which anime character influenced you in some way, or changed your mindset?
No anime has really made me think differently in my beliefs. I'd say though that some of the characters have helped me greatly however. When I watched Tsubasa the first time around I took a quote from Fai to heart
"Worrying doesn't serve a purpose, it just drains your strength. Strength you'll need when the real challenge has come. Learning to be happy through your struggles is a priceless skill."
At the time I was still struggling with my anxiety so this quote sort of helped me along, and afterwards when I started watching Ouran, I got a lot from that as well, especially from Tamaki, who had already overcame everything he had been through and was genuinely happy afterwards. Vic Mignogna has seemed to have been a great influence on me through his characters. He's my idol.
