Day 7
My niece should be here this week. If not here by Thursday then they are inducing her Friday. =)
I have a few favorites, not just one. Eleventh hour, Shakespeare, Van Gogh Empty Child/Doctor Dances, Partners in Crime, The Fires of Pompeii, The End of time, Amy's choice.
Eleventh Hour- This episode is so much fun. It made me smile like I haven't in so long. Best introduction of a new Doctor!! The whole scene with Young Amy is brilliant. Matt Smith is a very good physical Actor. Tennant is the best Doctor in facial expressions and emotions, Smith's strength is his physical acting. My favorite scene would Amy shutting his tie in the door to keep him still. That endeared her to me. Like Donna she was not going to take his Mad bumbling ways until she gets a straight answer. One of the best 'I am the Doctor- Run' Speeches.
Shakespeare code- Another fun episode. Best Shakespeare EVER! Also a big I see what you did there!!! They defeat the big bad with an Expeliarmis. At first I thought it was a nice mention to Harry Potter until the 7th DID come out. Made me wonder how much RTD knew. Love the other Harry Potter Drop.
Vincent and the Doctor- I have not cried that hard for an episode since End of Time and Torchwood ripped my heart out in season 2. This had to be one of the best Who episodes. The monster of the Day was a big silly but, the acting was amazing as was the story. There is so much I want to say about this episode but, can not find the words.
Empty Child/Doctor Dances- 2 things. Jack and Everybody Lives!!!
Partners in Crime- Reintroduced Donna and it was brilliant. 'I am waving at fat.'
The Fires of Pompeii- Once again showed the awesome of Donna. Gave him that friend he has been missing for so long. The person who would call him on his shit and also make sure he would not be alone again.
The End of Time- Do I have to explain why this was such a good episode!! Doctor in Bondage, Crazy glowing Master, Crazy Timelords that that MASTER fucks over, best Death of the Doctor and Wilf!
Amy's Choice- There are some reasons I like this episode but, since I am real crap at explaining WHY properly I will just say I like this episode!
