There are far too many because... whatevers and i agree we should get of the rules that reference ppl who have left. Some of the rules like 56 can be reworded to remove personal references.
The ones that are completly are random and have never been quoted, or have any signaficance should be removed for the list is far too long eg: 6, 8, 32, 35, 43,44, 62, 63.

I am concerned about what Jim and I created. We certainly never intended this. We definitely never wrote ourselves into it, I only pretend to be that arrogant. I am also concerned how much I feature in these rules. I'd be curious to see if any single person can spot every rule I've been involved in somehow. Of course some may be co-incidence. But seriously, some of these rules are based on things I've done after I left the society and indeed Wales. Jim is halfway across the world for god's sake

I think if you wan to make your rules *really* geeky you probably need a few more obscure references, Quatermass, or Flash Gordon or some such *nods*
