General Tyki songs:
What do I have to do? By Hoobastank
There is no limit to
How far I will go
And I'm sure I can pretend
To be a gentleman
But before I begin
I just gotta know
What do I have to do
To get inside of you
Come on you know it fits.
Jealous of your Cigarette By Hawksley Workman
I'm jealous of your cigarette
And all the things you do with it
I'm jealous of your cigarette
And the pleasure that you get from it
And not me
I see this for Cross as well, but the lyrics are very... Self-indulgent. Very Tyki.
Black Black Heart By David Usher
Something ugly this way comes
Through my fingers sliding inside
All these blessings all these burns
I'm godless underneath your cover
Search for pleasure search for pain
In this world now I am undying
I unfurl my flag my nation helpless
Black black heart why would you offer more
Why would you make it easier on me to satisfy
I'm on fire I'm rotting to the core
I'm eating all your kings and queens
All your sex and your diamonds
The whole song is a great villain song, but the lyrics are very sensual and a lot of the imagery fits Tyki's style.
Evil Night Together By Jill Tracy
We'll drink a toast in the torture chamber
And you'll go down on a bed of nails
We'll rendezvous in cold blood
I'll tie you up to the third rail
Let's wile away the hours
Let's spend an evil night together
Who's gonna make you a hero
Another good general villain song, but it's the tone of the music, jazzy and classy, like the singer is performing at some speakeasy in the 1920's that makes me associate it with Tyki for some reason.
Circus Apocalypse By Vermillion Lies
Come down and join the circus
It's easy to do
You could marry the strong man
But I think the knifethrower's got his eye on you
Your father will weep
Your mother will cry
Because to join the circus
You have to die
Honestly I associate this with the Earl more, but it's a good general Noah song.
When the Sun Goes Down By the Arctic Monkeys
And I've seen him with girls of the night
And he told Roxanne to put on her red light
They're all infected but he'll be alright
Cause he's a scumbag, don't you know
I said he's a scumbag, don't you know
It's about prostitution but this song really fits him, not as the hooker, but the man picking her up. The whole song has a slightly dark quality.
The Bidding By Tally Hall
I've been sleeping in a cardboard box,
Spending every dollar at the liquor shop,
[...]
I've been here like a thousand times,
Dated every woman in the atmosphere.
I've been to every continent,
Broken all the hearts in every hemisphere,
And if I'm not the type of guy you like to circumvent,
Just remember not to love me when I disappear
The rest of the lyrics sort of fit as well, it's another very self-indulgent and flirty song.
Songs about others/his relationships with others
Dream Awake By The Frames
This one is for (
dreamsofnoah), some things just aren't right in your head, dear.
Lullaby By Nox Arcana
Another one for Road. Creepy and lovely.
Fort Knox By Goldfish
For (
hedonisticwoman), for all the reasons you'd expect. Sexy and sassy just like her, with that hint of hip hop and jazz.
A Dustland Fairytale By the Killers
This one would be his song for Bird (
nightshined).
Aces High By Iron Maiden
For (
latenight_moon) it's heavy metal, and it's about flying. Somehow it fits her in phoenix form.
Cristofori's Dream By David Lanz
This one is for (
lastnightswish), the mellow, soothing piano with the slow, intense build and the melancholy feel fit her rather well.
I am always always interested in suggestions or links!
