There are so many different ways in which this is brilliant, and I am so unable to articulate what they are right now. I may come back and try again later, but for now, I wanted you to know that you may have, for my money, written the most original, creative, perceptive, scary and sorrowful Angel story I'm likely to read. Thank you.

Wow. Thank you for such a wonderful comment -- I'm grinning like a fool over here. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and that it wasn't too weird to work. I was kind of dubious about the concept because it seemed like it could be too out there, but it seems to have been well-received. It was a lot of fun to write, too.

Thank you! I wasn't sure if anyone had done something like this before, and I was a little hesitant to try, but I saw the reminder for that prompt and was like "I HAVE TO WRITE THIS."

It surprised me that the first bit of Angels Take Manhattan fic was something kind of off-the-wall like this rather than one of the three half-written "normal" things I've started, but whatever.

Thanks for reading!

It was brilliant and marvelous and one of my favs from that prompt!

Hmmm...'normal' is overrated - and what constitutes as 'normal' in Who Fandom anyhow? LOL!!

Always...think I'm going to be reading a lot from you in the future!

I feel like I'm going to be writing a lot in the coming months, due to a combination of the awesomeness that was the Angels Take Manhattan and my desire to put off thinking about law school finals for as long as humanly possible. Procrastination, thy name is fic.

Very good point on "normal" Doctor Who. Sometimes I forget that we love a show about a 1200-year-old time traveling aliens who lives in a blue police box that's bigger on the inside and who often saves people and occasionally kills entire races. Normal...?

This was great - wonderful job showing us the weeping angel side of things. I especially liked how the angel found common ground between her existence and River's. Well done.

Thank you! Writing the angel was really tough and I'm glad it seems to have worked. And I loved River SO MUCH in that episode; she just broke my heart into a zillion pieces with all of her quiet suffering and I thought it was important to tie that in.

Anyway, thanks for reading!

That was very well written and very disturbing.

I completely understand. I once posted a darkish fic, and was delighted at how many reviewers used the word 'chilling'.

Wow, I love that. This was brilliant, and I think the POV with the Angel was a unique twist.
