Do you typically enjoy films that are based off of books or do you avoid them? It depends! I mean, if it's a book I like, I am usually excited to see the movie, but whether the movie will be good always remains to be seen. Lately, though, I've enjoyed most of them - the HP movies, the Hunger Games movies, the first Divergent movies (the second movie is so incredibly different than the book, it was like watching something based on a book I have never read).

Would you rather read the book or watch the movie first? Read the book, always! I like watching the movies, but the books are almost always better, and I want to read them and picture the characters and the worlds in my head before I see them on screen.

What are some example(s) of films or movies based on books that got it right? The Hunger Games movies! They are actually the first ones in a long time that I think I like better than the books. Mostly because the movies are able to expand on the books and show other people's viewpoints, so all the cool behind the scenes stuff in ( ... )
