I'm just doing the best I can.

I would prefer to be closer to home if I can. I know during my Christmas visit, there were a lot of things I missed about being back home. Staying close to MI would be nice, especially with my sister starting to have kids and my brother about to head to college in the fall.

But I would be open to the idea of another country if the situation was right. I think it would be fun to try some time in Japan or perhaps a year at a university in Korea. Sadly, I couldn't do Europe; they just would not pay enough.

Yeah, I've been rather busy these past few months. Every now and then, I think "Maybe I should update things." Usually I end up thinking it at some ungodly hour, then doze off and forget by morning. Sigh.
