The finale? Gah. Seriously, loved it. Gah. I can't believe it's gone!
First - Wes and Fred? As soon as he talked about the lying, I knew that he would die and Fred would appear to him. (Note: I wasn't spoiled for Wes dying, but I knew for there to be an impact - It would be him.) I honestly started crying in that scene, and I never cry.
I loved "One of you will betray me." Spike's hand up. "It's Wesley." "Aw, can I deny you three times."
Cliffhanger ending? Saw it coming a mile away, and was actually okay with it. Angel always has to be fighting, and I personally see him making out of it.
I liked how the shanshu was out of the way in the beginning, so there wouldn't be confusion. But still, Angel shanshuing would have made me happy. *sigh*
Return of Connor? Anne? (That scene didn't come out as I would've wanted.) And Lorne Singing? Spike and his effulgent poetry? *Sigh* Perfection.
Overall, amazing. I was left more satisfied then with Chosen, I have to admit.
Edited to fix that I didn't mean Angel shouldn't have shanshued, I completely wish he had - but if they were not planning to do it anyways, at least they don't keep us guessing that forever.
