supposedly the first single is out! but I haven't listened to it yet. I probably owe my childhood that much, at least.

I expect this to be a flop. This isn't GN'R, this is Axl "I'm a God" Rose with a back-up band. Even if it isn't the wrinkly ol' bag full of suckage that its destined to be I still won't give that man a dime of my money.
