So, LoudTwitter is an application that posts a person's collected tweets for a day to LJ. It's something I've avoided, because even though I use and enjoy Twitter, seeing a list of random out-of-context tweets elsewhere has always looked kind of annoying to me. Someone on my flist took a vote of how many people actually read her mass twitter posts and something like 80% said they didn't. They don't really make sense unless they're directed at you.

If you set it up, I found that using the email posting allows for the easiest LJ code in order to put it behind a cut etc. you can also setup a friends group for people to let them opt in or opt out of the updates. I haven't done this myself yet, but my friend amazing_tito does it on his LJ.

Don't do it! Fight the urge to follow the trend! I don't have Twitter, but I have Facebook, and I see all kinds of odd little Twitter posts that don't make sense to me because, like you said, out-of-context tweets. I also think the name is silly. *Nods*

If you cave in, then I might have to so don't do it! lol I have been avoiding LoudTwitter because most of the ones I do see on my flist don't make sense. :)
