Dharma dress update!

I received my Cabela's khaki dress, and for $16.95, I like it.

Please pardon my dirty mirror - tried to clean it half-assed, and somehow streaked it up worse. oh well. Patch is a 4" BSG patch shown for scale and placement since my 4" Dharma patches aren't here yet.

Chest measurement was between 6 and 8 on their chart, and I got the 6 (because things are rarely too small through the chest on me!), but might trade up to the 8 b/c of the 100% cotton.

My only issue with the jumpsuit is that if I have my arms down, half the monogram will be under my arms! That appears to have happened with Evi too, though. Only thing I am going to do to it is sew up the open side vents - the suit has pockets, so I don't need to get to pants pockets and don't want to drop stuff out the leg of my pants, lol.

Hmm, I think I'll definitely do the iron-on patch and wear this one around Shore Leave if my Looking Glass patch doesn't arrive in time. But I have to find the graphic first.

I think I'll stick with the jumpsuit over the dress :) although it looks quite fetching on you.

Hmmm, because of the girls I think I'm going to have to go to order 12 and decided whether it needs a cold or a warm washing when it gets here. Stupid girls combined with broad shoulders make buy without trying on a stressful task.

In the pictures at least, the material on this dress look alot better than the material on the Dickiesgirls dress.

yeah, am reconsidering the resize on this one, and I'll probably just wash cold and keep it out of the dryer. and no "assistance" in the girls department -- I think someone built like me just shouldn't expect to have a waist in a dress like this, lol.
