Yosemite

Here are a couple pictures of our day in Yosemite. (I'm at the Susan Sarback workshop now.) The weather was absolutely perfect in Yosemite, lots of water roaring over the falls and down the river. Crowds not too bad. If there is anyone reading this who has not been to Yosemite Valley, you must, must see this place at sometime in your life. It is

Judy, yeah we got lucky and missed the flooding. Tioga Pass and Sonora Pass were both still closed because of snow, we were going to arrive via Tioga but had to go over Carson Pass instead. Lots of water roaring down the Carson River...I'm glad Calif had a good snow/rain year! We are dry in Montana this year, below normal snowpack.

I've never been to Yosimite -- but I will make the pilgrimage there some day...!

patience, definitely put Yosemite on your life list of things to do. It's worth it. Try to avoid the peak summer months or the crowds will be too bad. Spring is good, the waterfalls are most impressive then.

Linda, I looked at your blog,too! It is extremely well laid out and makes me want to create one, as you did, with recent paintings for sale. Your site is great and I enjoyed seeing your paintings!
