I am sort of getting settled into our new house, still feel disoriented and tired but it's starting to seem like home. Again, there's nothing like a 900 mile move to make you reaccess personal belongings. At our house in Montana, we had lots of square footage in the house plus a huge barn, and over the four years we were there, too many belongings ( Read more... )

Thank you, junebear! I'll be posting more art later, it's kind of on a back burner right now as I'm still getting settled in, then have to leave to go to Kentucky soon for the Derby. Be sure and check out my blog for the next couple weeks, it'll be exciting I hope.

The weather has been mixed...warm, sunny, 65 degrees one day, then snow the next. That's April in the Rockies I guess.

Welcome to your new home!
That's sure a good plan, (your list of things to keep you focused.) I need to do that too. I have too much ((stuff)) and too many things going on. I agree that Etsy.com is really easy to list things---so much easier than ebay. Hope to list more soon too!

Hi Lo, yes it is obvious that you have a wide range of interests...but your art is very consistant. Some people focus on one thing (like being the top tennis player in the world) others, like us, have a wider view!

I have been encouraged by a few sales I've made on etsy, I really plan to list a lot more there as soon as I can get settled into this new place.

Hello Snowmass! I hope to see some pics some time? Do you miss your old home at all? Your spring was so colorful at spring as I remember but I bet you are not short of beautiful things to see where you are now!

It's odd to read that I am in company with you and Lolo as far as needing focus and feeling excessively supplied with art and projects. I also should make use of my Etsy account since all I have been doing lately is to rant about how Ebay doesn't have any customer support!

Well have fun and enjoy the freshness!!!

Hi Erika, haven't had time to think about the old place much, but I know the daffodils and tulips I planted there are blooming now and there's none here at this new house! :-( It's also a higher elevation here, so spring comes a bit later. I'll post pics soon.

Erika, I like etsy. Things tend to move more slowly, as you don't have those weekly auctions ending, but one day you'll log onto your email and see that someone bought something while you were sleeping! Or painting!
